Rock Show
Every year, the Ark-La-Tex Gem & Mineral Society hosts our Rock Show. It takes place on the 3rd weekend in August. It is located in the Bossier Parish Convention Center (620 Benton Road; Bossier City, LA 71111) with over 200,000 square feet of gems, mineral samples, and finished items for sale or display. Our family-friendly show features children's exhibits and games, jewelry, and plenty of rockhounds to talk with.
Admission tickets can be purchased at the door of the Convention Center. An adult pass is $3 for one day or $5 for a two day pass. Children, ages 12 and under, are admitted free. With every admission ticket, you will recieve a free door prize ticket. Door prize drawings are held hourly with a grand door prize drawing held at the conclusion of the show (you need not be present to win a grand door prize).
Parking is free. Overnight RV parking is allowed, however there are no sewer hook-ups.
