The Ark-La-Tex Gem & Mineral Society is a non-profit educational organization devoted to promoting interest in the various earth sciences, particuarly the art of lapidaries and their related fields, since 1971. The Ark-La-Tex Gem & Mineral Society is a member of the South Central Federation of Mineral Societies and is, in turn, a member of the American Federation of Mineralogical Societies.
Membership dues are $15 for individuals, $20 for couples, and $25 for families. In addition, a subscription to the Rock Rattler may be purchased seperately for only $5. To renew a membership, bring the appropriate dues to our treasurer (currently John Autry) at one of our monthly meetings and update any personal information as necessary. You may also submit your dues through the mail using the join form.
